Minister Miller to attend citizenship ceremony in Toronto

In a spectacular celebration marking the 40th anniversary of Cirque du Soleil, Minister of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship, the Honourable Marc Miller, is set to welcome 400 new citizens from 65 different countries at a special citizenship ceremony. This event is poised to be one of the largest ceremonies in recent memory and the biggest across all of Canada this year.
The ceremony, to be led by Citizenship Judge Rodney Simmons, will feature a unique touch as Cirque du Soleil ECHO performers will join the new citizens in singing the national anthem. The festive atmosphere promises to be a fitting tribute not only to the newly minted Canadians but also to the iconic Canadian entertainment company.
