Minister Miller to attend citizenship ceremony in Toronto

In a joyous celebration of the 40th anniversary of Cirque du Soleil, the Honourable Marc Miller, Minister of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship, is set to welcome 400 of Canada’s newest citizens coming from an impressive 65 different countries. This special citizenship ceremony promises to be one of the largest in recent years and the grandest across Canada so far in 2024.
Taking place in Toronto on July 19, 2024, this milestone event will be overseen by Citizenship Judge Rodney Simmons, adding an official touch to the festive occasion. What’s more, the ceremony will be filled with even more magic as Cirque du Soleil ECHO performers will join the new citizens in a heartfelt rendition of the national anthem.
