Minister Miller to attend a Canada Day citizenship ceremony in Toronto

Title: Toronto Blue Jays Host Unique Citizenship Ceremony for New Canadians
In a heartwarming event symbolizing the unity of sports and diversity, a special citizenship ceremony will be held for 24 of Canada’s newest citizens from six countries by the Toronto Blue Jays. The Honourable Marc Miller, Minister of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship, will lead the ceremony at the prestigious TD Summit Suite in Rogers Centre.
Set against the iconic backdrop of the baseball stadium, on Monday, July 1, 2024, these new citizens will take their oath in a private event closed to the public. Citizenship Judge Rodney Simmons will preside over the ceremony, marking a significant milestone in the lives of these individuals as they officially become Canadians.
The fusion of national pride, sportsmanship, and diversity will be on full display as the Toronto Blue Jays open their doors to welcome these new members into the Canadian family.
