Statement by Minister Miller on Canada Day

“Canada Day Celebrations Highlight Unity and Reconciliation Efforts Across the Country”
Toronto, July 1, 2024 – In a heartfelt message delivered on Canada Day, the Honourable Marc Miller, Minister of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship, emphasized the importance of celebrating freedom while reflecting on the shared histories that define us as Canadians. Acknowledging the crucial role of Indigenous Peoples as caretakers of the land, the Minister called for a united effort towards reconciliation and understanding.
