In a vibrant display of support for the arts and community growth, the Federal Government has announced a substantial investment of $31 million over two years for the Canada Arts Presentation Fund. This funding includes $800,000 earmarked to bolster the renowned TOHU performing arts theatre in Montréal and enhance the captivating circus programs of the Festival Montréal Complètement Cirque.
Minister of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship, the Honourable Marc Miller, made the exciting announcement in Montréal, highlighting the significance of investing in cultural infrastructure. The festival will transform the city into a stage for 11 days, featuring thrilling performances from local and international circus artists. This initiative not only supports the local arts community but also creates jobs, boosts tourism, and fosters a sense of unity among Montréalers.
