Minister Miller to announce new welcoming Francophone communities and student pilot

Title: Canada’s Welcoming Francophone Communities Initiative Expands to Include New Regions
In an exciting update, The Honourable Marc Miller, Minister of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship, is set to reveal the latest additions to the Welcoming Francophone Communities initiative. Alongside this, a new program – the Francophone Minority Communities Student Pilot – will be introduced to support and uplift diverse communities across the nation.
Taking place in the scenic setting of Church Point, Nova Scotia, Minister Miller’s announcement is scheduled for Wednesday, August 14, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. AST. The event promises to shed light on the government’s ongoing efforts to embrace multiculturalism and provide opportunities for individuals from all backgrounds.
